Tent-making Bat
(Uroderma bilobatum)
You probably already guessed what’s so cool about this bat; they make their own tent to sleep in! They roost on the bottom side of palm leaves and cut a notch in the center of the leaves so they fold downward, creating a nice sheltered “tent”in which to sleep the day away.
