Red Fox

(Vulpes vulpes)

The Red Fox has the largest range of any carnivore on the planet, covering nearly all of North America, Europe, and Asia and even some of North Africa. It has been introduced into many other areas as well, including Australia. I photographed this tiny Red Fox kit coming out of its den in Denali State Park, Alaska, USA.
