Hal Brindley with his red wolf photo on a Nature Conservancy event note card

Got this nice little surprise in the mail. A note card featuring my red wolf photo, produced by The Nature Consevancy as an invitation to an upcoming event about red wolf conservation.  This makes me triple happy because:

1) This is my favorite red wolf photo I’ve taken (it’s the beautiful female named Mayo when she was living at the WNC Nature Center in Asheville).

2) I love helping out The Nature Conservancy because they’re an awesome organization

3) I’m very happy to be helping support red wolf conservation. They are a critically endangered species and can only be found in the wild in coastal North Carolina.

We featured this photo as a photo of the week on Travel For Wildlife last year and it is still one of our most popular posts!

Here’s another fun little red wolf tidbit. A video I made of the red wolf howling we attended in the Alligator River last summer! [button color=”#COLOR_CODE” background=”#COLOR_CODE” size=”medium” src=”http://travel4wildlife.com/howling-red-wolves/”]Read the Post[/button]
